Expert Drain Cleaning Service
Most people don’t think about their drains until they stop working. However, ignoring drains can lead to significant problems down the road. Scheduling regular drain cleaning is the best way to keep drains free-flowing and to reduce the chance of substantial backups. While plungers and chemical drain cleaners do help with clogs, they don’t always get deep enough into the system to thoroughly remove the obstruction and the clog returns. Below are the top reasons to use a professional drain cleaning service.
- Drain Odours: Foul smells coming out of your drains mean they haven’t been cleaned in a long time, so clean your drains regularly to keep your home smelling fresh.
- Ageing Drains: The best way to extend the life of older drains is by keeping them clean with regular maintenance.
- Healthy Pipes: When water backs up in pipes because of clogs, it creates water pressure buildup, which can damage older drains. To keep your pipes healthy, schedule regular drain cleaning.
If you’ve ignored your drains, and have a blockage, Sewer Squad Plumbing & Drain Services has the tools to remove it. Our rooter service gets to the heart of the problem and leaves pipes cleaner longer. If you’ve tried home remedies or drain cleaning products and had no luck, call us and ask about our drain cleaning.
We know that money is sometimes tight, which is why we have coupons and money-saving offers to help.
We Fix Sewer Lines
Here in the GTA, aging clay sewer lines are a problem because they’re often corroded or cracked, which leads to plumbing problems for area homeowners. It’s often difficult to determine whether a plumbing issue is with the sewer line because these pipes are usually buried. Watch for these symptoms that indicate you might have problems with your main sewer line and then call Sewer Squad Plumbing & Drain Services for an inspection.
- Fluctuating water levels in toilets.
- Standing water on your property.
- Sewage odour in your home.
- Cracks in the foundation.
- The buildup of mould and mildew.
- Gurgling sounds coming out of the drains.
While no one likes the thought of replacing a sewer line because of the excavation involved, we use a technique called Trenchless Sewer Repair that often solved the problem without the inconvenience of excavating the old line. Call us to find out if this is right for your sewer line repair.

Efficiently replaced old faucet, and a portion of pipe that was cracked. Technician was friendly and provided expert advice on questions asked on this and work we might want done in the future. All was done in about an hour. However, we found the price a bit steep.

After assessing the problem customer had issue with underground clogging and backing up in laundry sink. Noticed that 1 1/2†cleanout has been installed. Explained to customer that proper pipe size being minimum 3†is required to apply the right snaking equipment and camera inspection is needed. Customer insisted we have drain snaked. I explained to customer that drain cleaning has NO WARRANTY. I had tried to apply camera in floor drain to scope rest of line to ensure no further problems would occur. Floor drain was in very poor condition and possibly broken due to camera not being able to feed inside. Customer is aware of my findings but has refused to proceed with further fixing.
Faucet leaking into cabinet below. It was here when they moved in 8 years ago. Recommend replacing faucet as repairing it install an option. Replaced kitchen faucet. Noticed that clients trap had a crack in it. Replaced at additional charge. Kitchen faucet and trap tested well no leaks.
After assessing the problem customer had issue with kitchen drain being clogged due to children slime being flushed down drain. I had brought in ,y tools and set up work station. I had snaked drain approximately 16 feet to clear blockage. Free of charge I had applied camera down stack to ensure slime would not block main drain. I had found a rubber coupling connection underground which lead directly infront of basement toilet. Advised customer of the possible problems that connection will cause. Had also advised customer of backwater valve for drain but seeing as previous installers had used front wall cleanout as new toilet connection. Rest of drain line was clear and saw no issues. I had also recorded pressure from hosebib in garage and found pressure in home is too high and could lead to possible burst piping. All estimates have been attached. BioOne must be used to ensure free flowing drain line.
Toilet flange in powder room is damaged and upon installing toilet there is a leak. Also found that shut off valve to toilet is located in basement ceiling below washroom. Recommend replacing flange and extending copper through basement ceiling into washroom and installing new valve.
After assessing the problem customer had issue with leak coming from underneath kitchen sink. Upon further inspection I found that leak was not coming from Abs but valve directly above drain line. I advised customer of my findings and recommended new valves to be replaced as well as replacing faucet with a sturdy, quality faucet. I noticed that countertop was heavily damaged due to water and would either need to be replaced or reinforced with steel plate below. As per customers request I had siliconed around the base of faucet to attempt to secure faucet. I then shut down water and began to remove old valves and soldered in brand new mini Dahl valves. Once I made all final connections I tested by turning water back on to home. No further issues occurred. Advised customer not to use kitchen sink to let silicone dry for approximately 12 hours. Thank you for choosing Sewer Squad plumbing co! Erik
